Welcome to this experiment!
This is a study about how people react emotionally to images. You will view 4 sets of images of either faces or scenes, and you will be asked to rate the images as positive or negative.
The images will be displayed very briefly, and you won't be able to pause the experiment while it goes through a set of images. Therefore you will need to pay close attention to the screen and be prepared to respond quickly. Please make sure that you are currently in a quiet room free of distractions; otherwise, please close this experiment for now and restart later when you are ready.
This experiment will last for about 8 minutes.

You will view 96 images of faces or scenes, divided into 4 sets (24 images per set). After viewing each image, please press K if you think it's a positive image, or D if you think it's a negative image.
You won't see your choice on the screen, but please respond as quickly and accurately as possible.
